Ars Lyrica Houston, in partnership with Houston Public Library, presents a reading of our children’s book, Maria’s Magical Music Adventure, with live instrumental accompaniment. This book tells the story of Maria, a young girl who loves to sing, and a time-traveling journey she takes back to the Baroque period, where she meets the composer Antonio Vivaldi, who has just written his masterwork, The Four Seasons. Ars Lyrica is proud to offer this program as a part of Houston Public Library’s first-ever Sensory Festival, which will feature sensory-inclusive performances and activities for individuals of all ages.
