Longy School X ALH

Ars Lyrica Houston is pleased to announce a formal collaboration with the Longy School of Music of Bard College commencing this 2017-2018 season.

Each year, rising music students from Longy's Historical Performance Department will be selected to perform alongside Ars Lyrica in main-stage productions held at the Hobby Center's Zilkha Hall.   Through this collaboration, Ars Lyrica aims to provide these aspiring musicians an enriching performing experience to cultivate musical skill and understanding of professional ensembles.   We are excited to further these students development into the next generation of unparalleled period-instrument performers.
